Banteay Srei Temple is called Ladies temple, the one which built from the pink sandstone in half of 10th  century by Hindu King Rajendravarman II for dedicated to trinity Gods in Hindu mainly Shiva. Kbal Spean located more than 50 km from Angkor  is not the temple but a river bed covered with sculptures of linga, the symbol of the God Shiva’s supreme essence (Kbal Spean is about 45 minutes adventure through jungle up to the mountain), The Roluos Group(Preah Ko, Bakong, Lolei), which comprises the monuments of an early Khmer capital, lies 12 km west of Siem Reap, outside the main temple complex. It is a bit out of the way, but offers some fine examples of early Angkorian art and should be included in two or more than two-day itinerary. Kampong Phluk's economy is, as one might expect, based on fishing, primary in shrimp harvesting.

Kampong Phluk sees comparatively few foreign visitors and offers a close look at the submerged forest and lakeside village life as yet unperturbed by tourism. The area can be reached by boat from the Chong Khneas or by a combination of road and boat.
